EXCLUSIVE: Dennis "Demo" Queen is believed to be the last person who saw Joanna and Shariece Clark of Baltimore, Maryland, the day they disappeared. He's Joanna's ex-boyfriend and the father of her six younger children. He's known Joanna since Shariece was two.
Family and friends believe that Dennis Queen knows what happened to Joanna and Shariece. They point to the couple's turbulent past that includes a protective order Joanna obtained against Dennis Queen in September 2016. Dennis Queen vehemently denies the accusations. He feels that investigators are not doing enough to solve this case and is asking anyone with information to please come forward.

Not Dead. Not Alive. Just Gone.

Joanna Clark, 33, and her daughter Shariece, 15, mysteriously vanished on February 4, 2017. They were last seen in their South Baltimore apartment on the same day but at different times. Investigators suspect foul play but have not identified any suspects, and no arrests have been made.
Family members describe Joanna as a loving, caring, responsible mother who would never purposely abandon her six younger kids. Shariece, they tell me, is like a second mother to her siblings. According to Baltimore City Police, Joanna and Shariece don't have a history of running away or any other run-ins with law enforcement.
Joanna worked at Goetze's Candy Company in East Baltimore. Her aunt, who also works there, was first to notice that she hadn't shown up to work for two days. At the time, the family had no idea that Shariece was also missing. After getting a call from Joanna's brother on Tuesday, February 7, Joanna's best friend of 18 years, Jessica Watson, went to the apartment to do a welfare check. She says the younger children were there with their father's older teenage son who stated that Joanna and Shariece had not returned since Saturday. Jessica contacted Baltimore City P.D. to report them missing.
So what happened to the mother and daughter? People don't just fall off the face of the earth never to be seen or heard from again. Over the last few weeks, I've been looking into this case and talking with Joanna and Shariece's family, friends and law enforcement. Police tell me that it's no coincidence the two disappeared on the same day, and they believe someone wanted to do something to both of them.
We've put together two stories on this case to raise awareness about Joanna and Shariece. Their family and friends are hoping for more media coverage and would like to see a large reward offered for information in this case.
Anyone with information is urged to call detectives at 410-396-2100 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.

Since we first published our exclusive story on Akia Eggleston in September, many news outlets — national, online, and radio — have taken interest in her case. CrimeWatch Daily aired a story on Akia and mentioned a possible person of interest in her disappearance, but police did not identify the individual in the piece.
A month after Akia vanished, I interviewed Akia's close friend Cici Diaz. Miss Diaz stated that her cousin is the father of Akia's baby and that his girlfriend had been harassing Akia. She said the two women couldn't stand each other. Miss Diaz also stated that the woman had been sending Akia threatening text messages. However, our sources indicate that both the father of Akia's unborn child and the woman have been interviewed by investigators and are not suspects.

In a bizarre twist, people posting on a FB page for this case claim the woman, who was allegedly harassing Akia, has not shown up for work and that friends and colleagues have been unable to get in touch with her.
The national media attention this case is now getting is long overdue and will hopefully lead to answers for Akia's family. Don't forget, Akia was 8-months pregnant and also has a three-year-old daughter who misses her mom and will one day want to know what happened to her. That little girl deserves answers.
